A visual, highly intuitive project management tool based on the Kanban board system, organizing tasks into columns representing different stages of a workflow.

What it is

Trello simplifies project tracking using a paradigm of "Boards," "Lists," and "Cards." It is the digital equivalent of moving sticky notes across a whiteboard. Its extreme simplicity and flexibility make it ideal for individuals, small teams, or informal project tracking where heavy Jira processes are unnecessary.

When you would use it

You use Trello when you need a dead-simple, highly visual way to track the status of tasks without the overhead of formal agile project management software.

Common operations

  • Managing a simple content pipeline (e.g., Ideas -> Drafting -> Published).
  • Organizing personal to-do lists and freelance client work.
