Orbit by Sivants — Terms of Use
Effective date: June 2026
By accessing or using Orbit ("the Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
1. Pre-release software
Orbit is pre-release alpha software provided as-is. It may contain bugs, change without notice, and is not suitable for production-critical workflows. Use it at your own risk.
2. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Sivants LLC makes no guarantee that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your requirements.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sivants LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Software.
4. License
Orbit is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1. You may use the Software for your own development workflows, including commercial projects, as long as you are not offering the Software itself as a service to third parties. Each version converts to Apache License 2.0 four years from its release date. Full license terms are available in the LICENSE file in the Orbit GitHub repository.
5. Alpha access
Alpha access is granted at Sivants LLC's sole discretion and may be revoked at any time for any reason. Alpha is free. No payment is required or accepted during the alpha period.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of all code, context files, and project data you use with Orbit. Sivants LLC does not claim any rights to your work.
7. Third-party services
Orbit integrates with third-party services (Google Gemini, Anthropic, OpenAI, Cloudflare, GitHub, Vercel, Railway, and others). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Sivants LLC is not responsible for third-party service behavior, outages, or data handling.
8. Prohibited use
You may not use Orbit to violate any applicable law, infringe any third-party rights, or build a competing hosted service based on the Software during the BSL period.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
